ARE PARTIES AND EVENTS ALLOWED? Yes, in fact Villa Loukia is the perfect destination for large parties and special events.

IS THE VILLA SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN? Children are very welcome at the villa. We provide a high chair, cot, children’s DVD’s and a few other essentials for little ones. 

HOW MANY PEOPLE? The Villa sleeps 10-12 people. We have 4 double beds, two single beds, two additional fold-up beds and two cot beds.

IS A CAR RECOMMENDED? The villa is situated in a small quiet village and whilst there are a few places you can walk to, to fully appreciate the island we recommend hiring a car.

WHAT DO VILLA RENTAL RATES COVER? The rental rate is for the rental of the villa for the duration of your stay. The rental will include preparation/cleaning before your stay, linen, towels (including poolside towels) pool maintenance, water, electricity and gardening.

CAN I RESERVE THE VILLA? We can hold the villa for 2 hours if you need to confirm details with other party members or book your flights.

ARE YOU ABLE TO CHANGE THE CONFIGURATION OF BEDS IN THE VILLA? Unfortunately not, but the fold-up beds and cots can be put wherever you need them and can be moved throughout your stay if you wish. Please ensure the beds are left as you found them on departure.

CAN YOU PROVIDE SOMETHING IN THE VILLA FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION? We would be delighted to provide you with the details of local suppliers who you can organise this with. Please note, fresh flowers and fresh cakes can’t always be readily available on the island.

CAN I BRING MY PET WITH ME TO THE VILLA? Sadly we do not allow pets. Guide dogs only. 

DO YOU OFFER EARLY CHECK-IN OR LATE CHECK-OUT? Unfortunately not with early check-in, the villa needs to be prepared for the next guests and the 10am check-out time is vital to ensure the pool cleaner, gardener, maintenance and cleaning staff can access the villa throughout the day to ensure it’s ready for the next guests. 

Late check-outs can be discussed prior to your booking and are only available if we do not have a guest coming in immediately afterwards. 

IS THE POOL HEATED? The pools are not heated but very warm throughout the summer months.

WILL AN IRON AND IRONING BOARD BE AVAILABLE? Yes, both will be provided.

WILL A HAIRDRYER BE PROVIDED? Yes, there are hairdryers in the 4 double bedrooms.

WILL A COT BE AVAILABLE? Please note if you do have an infant on the booking, you will need to request a cot (which is free of charge).

IS BEDDING AND LINEN PROVIDED? Yes, bath towels and bed linen are included as standard. Pool towels are also provided. If you have a cot included on your booking, linen is also provided.

IS THERE BE A SAFE IN THE VILLA? Unfortunately, we do not have a safe at the villa. 

IS THERE W-FI? There is free Wi-Fi access, however the quality of the signal may vary at different times of the day.

HOW OFTEN WILL MY VILLA GET CLEANED? We provide a pre-rental clean and preparation of the villa and an end clean. If you are staying for 2 weeks, you will have linen and towel change approximately half way through your holiday. An additional cleaning service can be arranged at an additional cost, please contact us for details.

HOW OFTEN IS MY POOL AND GARDEN MAINTAINED? The swimming pools are normally checked and cleaned twice a week during peak season and once a week at all other times. This is usually done before you arrive but will sometimes be done mid-week. A net is provided for you to remove any leaves from the pool throughout the day. Gardens are maintained on a regular basis, usually very early in the morning. It is impossible for all work to be carried out on ‘changeover’ days alone. We ask for your cooperation, as it is imperative to keep our villas well maintained for all guests throughout the year.

WILL THE VILLA MANAGER BE THERE TO MEET ME AT THE AIRPORT? No – we can provide useful information on car hire and getting to the villa. Full directions from the airport will be sent prior to your arrival and Google Maps is excellent for navigating the island. 

WILL THE VILLA MANAGER VISIT ME DURING MY STAY? No – once you’ve checked-in, the villa is all yours! 

IF WE ARRIVE LATE, CAN YOU ARRANGE A FOOD PACK? In special circumstances we may be able to arrange a food pack which can be ordered for your late arrival – Please note the cost of the items in the food pack are usually circa 50% of the cost, the rest is payment for the time taken to shop and then deliver the items to the villa. There are also mini-markets within close proximity to the villa which stay open late.
